Laura Kralicky
Laura is a Research Coordinator at the Center for Sleep and Cognition. She is currently pursuing her Ed.M. in Human Development & Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her interests include neuroscience and how brain development influences cognition, behavior, and emotional regulation in children and adolescents. Laura is interested in the role of sleep in neurodevelopment and executive functioning. As a lucid dreamer, she is also interested in the brain activity underlying metacognition, awareness, and control during dreams.
Prior to joining the Center for Sleep & Cognition, Laura studied International Studies at American University. After graduating, she worked at a research lab in the AU School of Public Affairs where she received a federal grant and developed a K-5 digital literacy & social-emotional learning curriculum, which is now used in schools across the world and highly rated by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
