Stickgold Science of Sleep Series

About the Series

The Robert Stickgold Science of Sleep Series was launched in the fall of 2020 in an effort to connect sleep scientists and offer opportunities to discuss new and ongoing sleep research, and it has continued ever since. The series comprises two types of talks: (1) Stickgold Journal Club presentations and (2) Stickgold Annex talks. The group was originally founded for the Journal Club presentations that usually meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2:30-4pm. For these talks we generally have one discussion leader put together a few slides with some background info and tables/figures, but the goal is to engage in a constructive group conversation about a recently published paper in the field of sleep science. After a while we decided we wanted the opportunity to talk about ongoing science too, and thus the Annex talks were born (1st Wed of the month from 2:30-3:30pm). These presentations can be as formal or informal as the speaker would like and is a great place to discuss research/grant ideas, new protocols, interesting data, etc. Sign up to be on the listserv below, and if you are interested in presenting for either type of talk please feel free to select the button below! These talks are open to anyone with an interest or passion in sleep research so feel free to forward this info to other interested researchers!
