Grace (Meijia) He

Grace is from San Diego, California, and is a rising senior at Northeastern University majoring in Health Sciences with a minor in Biology on the pre-med track. Her interest in sleep began through her own experiences with how sleep can affect her mood, energy, and ability to balance school and extracurricular activities. As her interest in sleep and brain science grew, she also witnessed how sleep disorders impacted the lives of her family members and how currently available treatments did not significantly improve their quality of life. Her desire to better understand these conditions and help both her family members and others facing similar challenges led her to join the Center for Sleep and Cognition. Through this experience, she hopes to further develop her knowledge of sleep and brain science while contributing to research that may improve our understanding of sleep disorders and their treatments.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and playing tennis, pickleball, and volleyball with friends.
