Daniel Le
Daniel Le is a second-year Cell and Molecular Biology (Pre-Med) student at Northeastern University. His interest in sleep started with a broader curiosity about the brain and how something as fundamental as sleep could have such a wide-reaching impact on cognition and mental health. That curiosity grew as he dug into research on his own about how sleep ties into psychiatric health, pushing him toward pursuing sleep research as part of his broader goal of becoming a physician-scientist focused on mental health and community health access. At the Center for Sleep and Cognition, he is eager to learn more about the connection between sleep, cognition, and health and to contribute to research in the field.
Outside of the lab, Daniel enjoys playing pickleball and basketball, bingeing Marvel movies/shows, and rooting for Boston sports, specifically the Celtics and Patriots.
